Welcome to Kit Critters

Kit Critters are wooden puzzle models, built for easy painting by all ages, they come in many pieces (like a jigsaw) that can be painted like a mosaic, they are then assembled to create a lovely model anyone would be proud of.

The small butterflies are a great example, they are made from 29 pieces, all individually cut from high grade 6mm  plywood  and hand sanded. A 4mm plywood backing board is provided to ease assembly.

Each piece can be coloured using the Child friendly Acrylic paints and brush provided, or with any other finish you prefer.

Once painted, the parts are assembled and glued (using the child friendly glue provided) onto the backing board which has a pre-drilled hanging hole, making a neatly painted model which anyone would be proud of.

Only light sanding is required after the first coat of paint (two coats are recommended) but if you wish to spend more time on the pieces, a very professional looking result can be obtained.

Kit Critters are great fun during assembly and painting and provide a visually stunning presentation thereafter. Great as a gift, an innovative toy and craft option. Designs include Butterflies, Dragons and Racing Cars.
 

Suitable for ages 8 to 108 (younger on some models with supervision) and make a very therapeutic pastime for the not so young. Recommended for adults that are recuperating from illness or operations.
